Bio

Hi my name is Callum Lamb, I am an aspiring Media Editor/ Short Film creator. For many years I’ve been passionate with a creative flair, producing and editing short films and YouTube videos. My goal is to secure an opportunity to work at a professional studio with my long-term aim of establishing my own global business in the future.

Ever since childhood, I was captivated and mesmerised by film and television. From around 10 years of age, I’ve been making YouTube videos, short skits and mini-films featuring my friends. We get a big laugh out of watching back some of my early creations.

My attraction to the film industry has always been the creative freedom it gives me to direct and capture ideas that start as a vision and evolve into visual masterpiece. I thrive on the challenge of assimilating a narrative with hidden meaning and theme. Then seeing it all come together for the audience to absorb, critique and marvel. I enjoy the freedom of creating films and videos for the enjoyment of my peers and myself.

In life my values focus on equity and justice as the fundamentals of our society and our goal for the future. During school I created a short film for my HSC apart of my elective Industrial Technology – Multimedia. Whilst studying at Charles Sturt University, under the subject Narrative Productions, I composed a short film in addition to a few podcasts during my first year. My all-time favourite film is End of Evangelion, as weird as this film is, it made me question my life’s purpose and how I fit into this crazy world that we live in.

In my spare time, I like playing video games with my friends, editing and creating new YouTube videos, travelling and working on my car.
